The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences
Founded in 2003 in Muizenberg, South Africa, the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences was officially installed in Cameroon 7 October 2013 in the town of Limbe. With a capacity of 50 seats, the institute hosts students from more than 15 African countries.
The botanical garden
Limbe Botanic Garden was created by a German in 1892 on an area of 52 ha as a test garden to acclimatise in Cameroon plants like quinine, rubber, coffee, cocoa and banana. He also served as a training center for Cameroon in the fields of agriculture, horticulture and forestry.
